Relics are artifacts valued for their religious, cultural, or historical significance that can be recovered from Ruins. Unlike Rupee caches, which are a one-time bonus, Relics serve as a continuous source of income for the settlement in which they are discovered, and multiple Relic incomes can stack.
Book of Mudora Edit
Perhaps the oldest surviving written account in Hyrulean history, the Book of Mudora is actually a collection of over two dozen books that pertain to the origin of the world, and account of the Goddesses, and the creation of the Hylian people...or so many believe. A vast majority of the book is written in an extremely ancient language that predates all known alphabets, and there are very few in Hyrule who are capable of reading the book in its entirety. Interestingly, some of the books are written in Ancient Hylian and have been used as a means of deciphering differing Hylian alphabets.
