A Watchtower is a special military building available to all factions that can be constructed almost anywhere in a faction's territory. Watchtowers cost 200 rupees to construct and, unlike forts, are not garrison by units and have no defensive capacities, but provide a massive line of sight bonus, seeing through fog of war and providing useful views of territory beyond the view of your settlements. Watchtowers are often vital when placed on the border with other factions to observe the movement of rival armies and agents. Watchtowers cannot be destroyed once placed, and will be captured by an faction who takes over the region they occupy.
Watchtowers will suffer line of sight penalties if a Brigand group is within the same region.
